Miss Achmetha is a character in VeggieTales. She is a slightly crazed green onion who is known for her odd demeanor and her unexplained love for puppies.

BIOGRAPHY[]

She first appears in Esther... The Girl Who Became Queen as a Persian who auditions to be King Xerxes' new queen. Miss Achmetha auditions with her own song ("Lost Puppies") expressing her love for puppies and how she would "give a home to all the lost puppies" if she were queen. Unfortunately, her audition is given two thumbs down by King Xerxes (Mr. Nezzer) and Haman (Mr. Lunt).

Miss Achmetha occasionally has the occupation of a nurse. She has also appeared in several Silly Songs.

Personality[]

She was one of the Persian ladies chosen by Haman to become King Xerxes' new wife. She sang her song to win his heart, though he declined due to the fact he didn't want to deal with dogs.

APPEARANCE[]

Miss Achmetha is a green onion with long black hair, small green nose, pink lipstick and twitches constantly. She wears a Miss Persian Pageant attire carrying an accordion. In "Twas The Night Before Easter," her hair is colored brown.

TRIVIA[]

  • As stated in the commentary, Miss Achmetha is actually the peasant carrot in Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men. She was said to appear as a carrot in her later appearances, but she returned to her original design.
  • She is often seen playing an accordion.
  • Her name comes from the ancient name of Ecbatana.
  • After Belly Button, her eye twitching vanished. It later came back in Abe and the Amazing Promise, as suggested by John Wahba.
  • She shares the same model as Miss Minchin. According to both Mike Nawrocki and Chris Wall, she is not the same character. Whether they're both related is unknown.
